The 12 days of silence
During the last 12 days I have not posted, however I have been learning a lot about life, love, and what my next step is going to be.
The lessons I've learned are; filing for unemployment SUCKS! Don't get to cocky with your abilities. (I successfully got an interview for an office position, however I didn't get the job because I'm to advanced for the stone age.) Over all I think one of the main things I've learned is that when you fall down you've gotta get back up, even if that means starting over.
My husband runs a computer business, small time for now but constantly growing. He has had his failures and he has had his victories. Watching him go through this time of growth has made me stop and think about what I want to be doing with my life and my career. I don't want to continuously work for other people. I was born to be a leader and to make my own path as I always have. I've always wanted to have my own photography business, write a book, sell arts, crafts, and baked goods.
My question to myself was; why have I spent so much time trying to fit into something I'm not? I was beautifully and wonderfully made for a purpose and I'm doing everything outside of that purpose. So, this blog marks the dawning of a new era; the ME era and I can't wait to see what comes of it.
I plan on venturing into new business endeavors, a refreshed relationship with God, and a new adventure with my hubby. I'm so excited and I can't wait!

Critics reviews of movie Courageous: Christian and Non
In writing this over view I will be giving you a small back ground on Sherwood Pictures as well as the critics review of the movie. For a while now I’ve been keeping up to date with the works that Sherwood is releasing, their up lifting family friendly films are touching the lives of families and people all over the world.
The church began tossing around the idea of producing films after a behind the scenes tour of the Disney “Imagineers”. When seeing the commitment to excellence of a secular agency they became challenged and asked themselves: If a secular company can be this committed to excellence, why can’t the church of Jesus Christ? Since beginning production they have produced and published four full length films: Facing the Giants, Flywheel, Fireproof, and Courageous.
The latest film, Courageous has gotten mixed reviews from believers and non-believers. Over all on the popular review site Rotten Tomatoes the movie got a 92% “audience liked it” rating to the 35% critic rating. While the critic reviews referred to the message as “dogmatic” the overall rating by fans was 92% and those numbers don’t lie. To read more of the Rotten Tomatoes review and comments visit http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/courageous/
Over all in a overly secularized world a movie such as this will only hit home with most critics as “preachy and overly simplistic”. However The Hollywood Reported called the film the “most ambitious effort from Sherwood Pictures”. Later stating that while many non-Christian audiences will find the movie “proselytizing” but later stated “these enterprising Baptist filmmakers clearly know their audience”, to read more of this review visit http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/courageous-film-review-242705
“Over all the Christian world praised this film for doing for fatherhood what Fireproof did for marriage.” http://www.movieguide.org/reviews/movie/courageous.html “With each new release from the Kendrick brothers, the films seem to be getting progressively better.” http://christiananswers.net/spotlight/movies/2011/courageous2011.html “Courageous is worth supporting. It’s a Cinderella industry story as these Sherwood Baptist Church guys achieve box office notoriety with each new movie.” http://www.cbn.com/entertainment/screen/courageous-movie-review-goodwyn.aspx “I already considered myself a good dad. After watching this movie, I want to be a great dad. Sherwood Baptist Church hits another home run with this fantastic film! It is remarkable and inspiring.” http://www.christiancinema.com/catalog/article_info.php?articles_id=8081#
These are just a few reviews among many! There are mixed reviews from both crowds. Over all the message of hope for a future and a call to better fathering is an inspiring movement worth checking out. I challenge everyone to watch Courageous for themselves and make your own opinion. Go into it open minded and see what comes of watching it. Christian or not this movie is worth watching and who knows you might just learn something.

The beginnings of editing
Well, this evening I sat down and spent about two hours editing my blog. Since I started using blogger about 6 years ago there have been so many changes. There newly update interface limits a bit of the editing power that the older version of the dashboard gives you. Sometimes simplicity is better than up to date.
I am looking forward to the freedom this newly set up blog will bring. Something about writing and letting the words flow for the world to read gives one clarity and peace.
Anyways, until tomorrow g'night!

Let the blogging begin
Well, after a few days to gather content ideas and build an idea of exactly where I'd like to start heading with this blog, I will finally begin posting on a regular basis this week. For a sneak preview I will be writing about the movies Courageous and Mr. Poppers Penguins as well as writing a review on the Latest Jesus Culture Album Awakening released in late November.
Stayed tuned for that and much more to come!
